I like to provide a product review on items that I purchase in order to give my viewers a better feel for the product before they purchase it. I also like to provide how-to videos when possible in order to assist others that may be facing a challenge while trying to accomplish the same task. Finally, I like to provide videos of the activities that we (my family) enjoy such as camping, hunting, fishing and trapping. I have learned a lot about many items and I have been able to accomplish many tasks through the help of RUclips. I hope my videos are helpful to you

New RV Trailer Tongue Box
When I started looking for a lithium battery to upgrade my RV 12 volt system, I quickly realized that there are few that would work in my original RV battery box. Once I purchased the new jsdsolar 400ah battery, I then found that there aren’t a lot of battery box options that are big enough to hold the battery yet small enough to fit in the available space on the tongue of my RV. The battery box I purchased is an aluminum, powder coated, locking tool box. This tool box is sturdy enough to securely hold the battery, it has a sealed lid to help keep it dry inside and it has a nice powder coat finish.

RVLock V4 Keyless Entry Upgrade , Easy to Install
Просмотров 8812 часов назад
Safety is always a concern no matter where you’re at or what you’re doing. However, this upgrade was more for convenience for me but it came with an extra safe side effect. I have always liked the idea of a remote or keyless lock on our travel trailer so after doing a little research, I decided to go ahead with this upgrade. This seemed easy enough as it is made to fit the existing hole in the ...
DIY Faux Hand-Hewn Beams and Post
Просмотров 249Месяц назад
While remodeling our living room, we had some exposed beams and posts that needed to be covered. We decided to wrap them with 3/4” boards to give them a finished look but we really wanted a rustic look to match the rest of the room. I decided to try making faux hand-hewn, weathered beams. This wasn’t a hard project but it was time consuming. I forgot to record the actual build of the beams but ...
Smokemont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

In 1976 my parents purchased a 17' travel trailer after being invited to go camping with several families from our church. The first campground we visited was Smokemont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and from that point we were hooked on camping. After growing up camping at Smokemont for all those years, it is still my favorite place to camp. Smokemont campground is locat...
Nilight RV Interior Light Installed in a 360 Hunting Blind
Просмотров 2057 месяцев назад
I received a two pack of the RV Interior Lights from Nilight for a review. I was happy to install and review these lights because I have used this brand previously on my hunting buggy project and I know and have experienced this to be a quality brand name. In this review, the install could not have gone smoother. I already had the power source that was easily accessible. The hardest thing about...
DIY Septic Tank Riser Install
Просмотров 5 тыс.8 месяцев назад
After shoveling the dirt away to uncover our septic tank lids in order to have the tank pumped out, I decided I did not want to do that again. After a lot of research, I decided to go with the Polylok Tank Riser kit. I purchased mine from www.septicsolutions.com but I am including the Amazon link to a similar Polylok tank riser kit below Polylok 24" Septic Tank Riser Kit (14" Tall) a.co/d/3hrkf...

Setting up our RV at home or on vacation is pretty much the same routine. I have a list memorized and I follow it the same way every time. I just thought I would make a short video that may be of help to someone or give someone some ideas. Amazon link ANDERSEN HITCHES Trailer Jack Blocks a.co/d/8CVTq9i
RV Sewer Cap Removal Tool

After dealing with really tight sewer caps on our new travel trailer, I decided to make a tool to make removing the caps very easy. I made this tool out of a piece of scrap oak flooring.
DIY RV Storage Drawer
Просмотров 14 тыс.Год назад
After building my first RV storage drawer in our first RV, I knew that I would want one of these in our next RV as well. These drawers make it so simple to be able to reach everything in a compartment that is four feet deep and sometimes a pass through compartment. If you have a travel trailer with minimal storage, you are certainly familiar with having items in the storage compartment that you...
RV Propane Tank Cover Modification / Keep Your Hard Shell Cover
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.Год назад
Before installing the Trailer Tray, I knew that accessing the propane tanks would be more difficult if I kept the hard shell propane tank cover. I decided to try a simple modification of making access doors on the plastic cover and this worked great. I am now able to keep the plastic propane tank cover and easily access the propane tanks at any time. This was a simple and easy modification that...

Good to see you post videos again friend
Thank you so much, it’s feels good to be back at it.
Very cool
Great idea, but video doesn't show close enough to understand how.lol.
Great idea and well executed.
Thank you, I appreciate that
Thanks for sharing. Well built rig.
Good Jobbin'.
what size wood are you using these on? 3/4 or 1/2 inch?
How long to let it cure? I sprayed my rear seats until it was all black (what I consider 1 coat) them again for a second coat and used the seats 2 days later on a long trip and the abrasions from peoples clothes and weight began to rub it off. Anything I need to do to seal it? Or add another coat?
Just bought one for $80
Does it only slide out 1 side?
Yes, I could have made a drawer for the other side but the access door was significantly smaller.
Very nice excited to see a new video, great project
A chain works will too!
True, I have used a chain on boards before, works good.
How much weight is this adding?
Right at 40 lbs
Can it be made wide enough to fit the back of a pickup truck?
Thank you for this
Im looking at this specific one but I’m not sure with so many slides having more possible problems. But More slides means more room though 🤔 hmm
Very Impressive!!
I was following it well till you were going super fast thanks in advance
Has anyone seen ideas for doing this, without welding. I don't weld, and I don't know anyone that does.
Thanks for the idea.. it would help a lot..❤
Great job! Thanks for inspiring me to do my own!
Is it easy to register these trailers?
Your camera skills gave me motion sickness. I had to stop watching, sorry. Cheers 🎉
any idea on what to type of channel to use for 3000mm long drawer ?
Thanks for the video! Straight forward and no screwing around. I'll be trying this soon in my house!
My outdoor “shower” has a squirt gun attachment and a coiled hose. Some sort of high pressure sprayer with hot and cold water. I wonder if it can be converted to a shower. The connection to the faucet is a quick connect type probably 5/8” diameter
Beautiful place I was there after you took the video probably a few hours,I recognized many of those campers there, make me feel very happy to found this video.thank you very much
I’m glad you liked the video, we love this place and look forward to returning the first week in July.
Very helpful..Thank you sir
any tips for laying out and carving the stars on the curved sections of a wavy flag. thanks, paul @ calabash
Very good job and nicely presented DIY vid as well. We are going to do this for a kitchen floor for our cabin in the mountains.
I love this so much. Just the point when you are just sanding it for the first time it looks so cool, like wood bricks.
Thank you for sharing this!
nice construction. i need every square inch of spare in that compartment and this halved it. i really like the slide operation though. maybe i can utilize it elsewhere
Thank you
Thank you so much for this video. I ordered the exact same kit and followed your instructions (minus dropping my phone in the lid).
Thankyou, and like you said it happens most times when the truck has been in the shop, same thing happens to me.
Probably should have cleaned the loose dirt off the top of the tank before putting the riser adapter down. That butyl isn't sealing anything now.
I’m sold, how much for you to make one for my Taurus lol
What kind of color pigment did you use
Hey, thank you so much for your videos. I now have the same set up. Just a quick question on how you connect the generator to the RV propane. I also have the same RV. 😎
Do you connect it to the RV quick connect or straight to the propane tank. Thanks.
My cross bars are 28" apart on center. Would this carrier adjust to fit? There's one for sale here but it's quite a drive.
Is that storage space accessible from the inside of the rv bedroom? If so how can I secure it?
Yes, I can raise the bed and access the back side of the storage space. I attached my drawer frame to the back side of the partition that separates two inside drawers under the foot of the bed from the storage space. If that makes sense
What I want to know is how the heck did you get that 100lb generator up on to that tray? I just finished, well almost, installing this generator stand minus one busted lip and scratched tooth later (don’t ask) and I’m now looking for ways to get my generator up on to the tray!!!!!!!!✌🏽
ugliest livingroom i ever saw
😂
Great job, looks nice! One question for you. In my use case, maximum drawer height is a concern because I'll be holding a cooler on my sliding drawer. I noticed that your cross beams were vertical. Is there any effect on load bearing by rotating the beams on my frame horizontally (where possible) to save some vertical space?
I don’t think there would be an issue with load bearing, if I understand the question correctly.
You did a nice succinct job with the video and a great project.
Thank you!
I’m picking this exact one up today for 75 bucks off FB marketplace. Looks brand new never used…. But model must be 20 years old or more.
Do you have a video or link to those quick disconnects for the propane, plastic covers or a video showing how you did that
Why not measure a real flag and do math to make smaller or larger. Duh
Don’t be a jerk. Every American flag is different
Thank you very much. Great explanation.
Wow impressive mind. You just proven necessity is the mother of invention. Thanks for sharing this idea.
